  I went to Wendy’s the other day. I go maybe once every 2 weeks and I buy my son a little something. I have a frosty key tag I have on my key ring you get mini frosty with a purchase of food. You have to buy the key tag and it lasts a year it’s probably only $2. Every time I go I show my tag and some employees don’t bother to look but I do have it and they know me and have seen my key tag. I’m honest and I carry it because I’m a regular. There is this one manager though women she always leans in to see my key tag and see if it is expired even though she knows I always go there and I’m a regular. I bought a new tag for 2018 for my son stocking stuffer. I went the other day and as usual I told her I had frosty key tag she was going to hand me my items , but then I said oh I’m sorry. I didn’t switch out my key tag to the new one. Is it ok ? I still had 2017 . She took items back and then said no and charged me for my mini frosty even though she knows I go there and I’m a regular. She then asked me if I would like to purchase a new key tag and to which I replied “No Thank You I have already purchased 2. One for when I bring him and one for when my husband brings him. I just forgot to switch it out.” If I had not been honest I wouldn’t of had to pay for frosty. Any other employee would of let me get it because they knew me and know I go there all the time and order same thing and have key tag. I know it’s there job but really they could’ve just said bring it next time or don’t forget to switch it out. Being that I had the old one on my key ring. I’m glad I checked my bag that day because they had my order wrong and they forgot to put in an item I purchased and after that same manager saw that she seemed embarrassed. My son loves Wendy’s so we will definitely keep going.
